Sixth Ba Ria – Vung Tau International Kite Festival in 2015

“Fly with Vietnam” will be the topic of the International Kite Festival in 2015.
To promote the traditional and cultural values of the healthy recreational sports and to facilitate Vietnamese kite artisans expand creating kite models, on April 15th, 2015, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized press conference for Sixth Ba Ria – Vung Tau International Kite Festival in Vung Tau Intourco Resort.

The Festival will be held from April 22nd to April 27th . There are 2 teams join the festival which are International Team and Vietnamese Team. International Team includes 20 small teams and 53 artisans from Germany, France, UK, Italy, New Zealand, Australia, Thailand, Nepal, Malaysia, India, the Philippines, China, Combodia, USA, Sourth Korea. Vietnam team includes 44 artisans of 17 teams which represent 3 regions in Vietnam (North, Central and South); and provincial Kite clubs.
During the festival, visitors will see many attractive and beautiful performances such as Rokkaku competition, Flute skites performance,... Also; they will be very impressive with many giant kites in Vung Tau Intourco Resort.

Most of the kite performances, kite exhibitions take places in Vung Tau city, including Vung Tau Intourco Resort, Bien Dong Ocean Park, Paradise and Vung Tau Tourism market.
Many unique and special points will be held at the International Kite Festival this year such as kite performances with music, kite performances at night, kite competing,…
